Personal:
Sabrina Mansanas is an
associate at Alverson, Taylor, Mortensen & Sanders and practices in civil
litigation with an emphasis in insurance defense, personal injury, products
liability, premises liability and attorney malpractice. She is currently
licensed to practice in the Nevada Supreme Court and the U.S. District Court
for the District of Nevada.
Sabrina graduated from
the University of Nevada - Las Vegas and received a Bachelor of Science in
Criminal Justice in 2000. While in college, she was inducted into the Golden
Key Honor Society, and was nominated for lifetime membership into the
National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
Sabrina began her career at Alverson, Taylor,
Mortensen & Sanders in 2001 as a docketing clerk. She soon advanced to the
position of legal assistant, which she enjoyed, although her true desire was
to become an attorney. With the support and encouragement of her mentors and
co-workers, Sabrina went on to attend law school at UNLV and received her
Juris Doctorate in 2006.
While in law school, Sabrina received a CALI
award for Professional Responsibility and was recognized as an Outstanding
Student in the community service program. Sabrina also practiced as a
student attorney in the Juvenile Justice Clinic, where she represented
juveniles in cases involving criminal charges and school discipline. She is
an active member of the American Bar Association, Clark County Bar
Association, Nevada Justice Association, Supreme Court Historical
Society, Defense Research Institute (DRI), and Vegas Young Professionals.
Sabrina enjoys reading, traveling, music, movies
and spending time with family and friends. She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii
and enjoys visiting her family there as often as possible.
