Personal:
Nate Nelson is an associate with Alverson, Taylor, Mortensen & Sanders and
practices in all areas of civil litigation.
Nate attended Midwestern State University where he graduated magna cum laude
with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. While at MSU, he made
the President’s Honor Roll multiple times and received various scholarships
– including an athletic scholarship to play shooting guard for the MSU Men’s
Basketball Team.
Nate attended law school at the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College Law
where he received a Juris Doctor in 2009. During law school, he received a
CALI award for Civil Procedure and worked as a teaching assistant for the
first year legal writing class. He also played on the University of Utah
Racquetball Team and won several intramural basketball championships.
Nate enjoys golf, racquetball,
basketball, dirt biking, skiing, snowboarding, fishing, and boating.
