ERIC K. TAYLOR

Personal:

     Eric Taylor joined the firm in 1979 and became a partner in 1985. Eric has developed a diverse practice over the years handling cases in all areas of civil litigation including professional liability, commercial litigation, construction litigation, administrative law, insurance law, product liability. During the Nevada State Bar’s initial examination into the feasibility of a mandatory non-binding arbitration process in the early 1990's, Eric served as an Arbitrator in over 100 cases. Eric is also the hiring partner for the firm and for over 20 years has been in charge of all attorney hiring. He is licensed to practice law in Nevada, Utah, and Arizona, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit. Eric has an “AV” rating with Martindale Hubbell.

      Eric was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. He attended the University of Utah where he received a B.A. in 1976, and his Juris Doctorate in 1979. Following graduation from law school, Eric accepted a position at Alverson Taylor Mortensen & Sanders and moved to Las Vegas.

      Eric is an active member of the Clark County Bar Association, State Bar of Nevada, Utah State Bar, State Bar of Arizona, American Association for Justice, and the Nevada Justice Association. In 2008, Eric was selected as a Nevada Super Lawyer by Mountain States Super Lawyers magazine.
