Personal:
Andrea
Thorsteinsson practices civil litigation, with a focus on medical malpractice
defense. Andrea was admitted to practice law in the State of Nevada in 2008
and is licensed in both the State Court of Nevada and the United States
District Court, District of Nevada.
A native of Phoenix, Arizona, Andrea
graduated magna cum laude from Arizona State University in 2001 with
bachelor's degrees in Supply Chain Management and Justice & Social Inquiry.
While at Arizona State, Andrea received several awards in Supply Chain
Management and received the national R.Gene Richter Scholarship.
Andrea received her Juris Doctorate degree
from California Western School of Law in 2008. While in law school, she
clerked in the Executive Office of the Arizona Attorney General. She also
worked as a Student Supervisor for the Bail Project, under the Office of the
San Diego Public Defender. Andrea came to Alverson, Taylor, Mortensen &
Sanders in the summer of 2007 as a Summer Associate and now works as an
Associate in medical malpractice defense.
