
Personal:
Amy Krieg is an associate attorney at Alverson Taylor Mortensen & Sanders. She attended Albion College in Michigan, where she majored in Anthropology and Sociology. Amy received her Bachelors degree in 2007.
In 2006, Amy travelled to Cape Town, South Africa and studied for a semester at the University of Cape Town. While in Cape Town, she volunteered at schools in the local townships, helping tutor students. In 2008, Amy travelled to Montana to help build a straw bale home for a Northern Cheyenne family as part of a Red Feather Development project.
Amy received her Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law in 2011. While attending law school, Amy was a California Western Faculty Scholarship recipient, served on the Moot Court Honors Board as Special Events Chair, received an Academic Achievement Award for highest grade in Criminal Procedure, and tutored Contracts and Evidence. During the Fall of 2009, Amy worked as a law clerk for the United States Attorney's Office, Civil Division, in San Diego, California. During Amy's last semester at Cal Western, she externed for the Honorable John Houston, United States District Court, Southern District of California.
Amy grew up near Detroit, Michigan and moved to San Diego in 2008 for law school prior to coming to Las Vegas in 2011. In her free time she enjoys traveling, creating crafts, exercising and playing with her miniature schnauzer.
