
Personal:
Amy received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2007. She continued on at UNLV attending law school at the William S. Boyd School of Law where she received her Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude, in 2011. Amy was honored with a Dean's Award for Outstanding Contribution to the School upon her graduation.
While attending law school, Amy served as the Philanthropy Committee Chair for Phi Alpha Delta Fraternity. She also received numerous academic awards including CALI awards for disability law and LEAP seminar, Dean's Honor List, Moot Court national semi-finalist and 4th Place Best Brief (2010), and was a Nevada Law Journal staff member from 2009-2011.
During the Summer of 2009, Amy clerked for the Clark County Public Defender's Office. She later externed for the Clark County Special Public Defender's Office and the Rocky Mountain Innocence Center in the Fall of 2010.
